Ganapati Havan is performed when a person is starting a new business or investment; on a house warming; on a wedding; on one’s birthday or to reduce the unfavourable influence of Ketu.
The consorts of Lord Ganesha are Riddhi (prosperity) and Siddhi (success), so when one performs Ganapati-Havan, they will be able to overcome their obstacles and in addition to this, they will be blessed with prosperity and success.
This havan is performed by invoking Lord Ganapati followed by the chanting of Ganapati Mantra and then performing the havan.
When to Perform Ganapati Havan?
Ganapati Havan is performed during the Brahma Muhurth and during all other auspicious Horas. Date can be fixed according to one’s nakshatra and the yoga, nakshatra and thithi of that particular date.
